Blue Monk at SBF

Yesterday was a  beautiful day for outdoor music at the farm.  We are so lucky to have frequent live music - whenever one of the bands Rog plays in rehearses here. This weekend, Blue Monk played, with musicians Bob and Dawn Sanborn, Becca Stiles-Nogosek and Taylor Nogosek, John Sievers, and my favorite guitarist Roger Nelson.

Some folks came by bicycle and had a picnic.

Some families brought their children to meet the farm animals - our interns led short farm tours.

We had discovered a brand new clutch of 17 chicks in the morning, and some guests got to hold a just-hatched chick.

There was a bit of dancing in the garden and on the driveway.

The band sounds great!
