This morning, I hosted a grant-writing planning meeting on the patio. As our meeting was wrapping up, Bethany and Brendan appeared with a platter of hot popovers Bethany had just taken out of the oven. What a sweet way to end a meeting!
The popovers (made with our hens' eggs) were served with creme fraiche and butter (both made from LaFonda's cream) and garden raspberries Brendan had picked while Bethany baked. YUM! If word gets out, I suspect our patio might become a favored meeting site.
