Alas, the tulips are done.
But happily, we won't be without blooms. The housewarming orchid our friend Barb gave us a year and a half ago is blooming again - for the fourth time in 17 months! It must love living here as much as we do.

What a lovely bloom. I have a few Phal's but they have not bloom for a few years... I think they need better care :-)
Dan, based on my experience, maybe they need better neglect.
I have orchid-envy - Alas, my relationships with them usually end in sadness.
